Romans 2:13
13: For it is not merely knowing the law that brings God's approval. Those who obey the law will be declared right in God's sight.
James 1:22
- And remember, it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. If you don't obey, you are only fooling yourself.
- For if you just listen and don't obey, it is like looking at your face in a mirror but doing nothing to improve your appearance.

- Rahab the prostitute is another example of this. She was made right with God by her actions--when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road.

Romans 3:20
- For no one can ever be made right in God's sight by doing what his law commands. For the more we know God's law, the clearer it becomes that we aren't obeying it.
