Romans 1:3
3: It is the Good News about his Son, Jesus, who came as a man, born into King David's royal family line.
Matthew 1:1
- This is a record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah, a descendant of King David and of Abraham:
John 1:14
- So the Word became human and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father.
Galatians 4:4
- But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.
Jeremiah 23:5
- "For the time is coming," says the LORD, "when I will place a righteous Branch on King David's throne. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land.

- God showed how much he loved us by sending his only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
- This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
John 10:30
- The Father and I are one."
Isaiah 9:6
- For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
- His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will guarantee this!
Luke 1:35
- The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
Psalms 2:7
- The king proclaims the LORD's decree: "The LORD said to me, `You are my son. Today I have become your Father.
Luke 1:31
- You will become pregnant and have a son, and you are to name him Jesus.
- He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David.
- And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!"
Matthew 1:20
- As he considered this, he fell asleep, and an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. "Joseph, son of David," the angel said, "do not be afraid to go ahead with your marriage to Mary. For the child within her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.
- And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
- All of this happened to fulfill the Lord's message through his prophet:
- "Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and he will be called Immanuel (meaning, God is with us)."
Romans 9:5
- Their ancestors were great people of God, and Christ himself was a Jew as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.
Jeremiah 33:15
- At that time I will bring to the throne of David a righteous descendant, and he will do what is just and right throughout the land.
- In that day Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will live in safety. And their motto will be `The LORD is our righteousness!'
- For this is what the LORD says: David will forever have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel.
Matthew 1:16
- Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Mary was the mother of Jesus, who is called the Messiah.
2 Samuel 7:12
- For when you die, I will raise up one of your descendants, and I will make his kingdom strong.

Jeremiah 33:26
- I will never abandon the descendants of Jacob or David, my servant, or change the plan that David's descendants will rule the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore them to their land and have mercy on them."
Matthew 1:6
- Jesse was the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon (his mother was Bathsheba, the widow of Uriah).
Matthew 15:22
- A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter has a demon in her, and it is severely tormenting her."
Acts 2:30
- But he was a prophet, and he knew God had promised with an oath that one of David's own descendants would sit on David's throne as the Messiah.

- God will surely do this for you, for he always does just what he says, and he is the one who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

- And the ones who win this battle against the world are the ones who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

- What can we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

2 John 1:7
- Many deceivers have gone out into the world. They do not believe that Jesus Christ came to earth in a real body. Such a person is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1 John 3:8
- But when people keep on sinning, it shows they belong to the Devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the Devil.
1 John 5:1
- Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.
1 Timothy 3:16
- Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ appeared in the flesh and was shown to be righteous by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and was announced to the nations. He was believed on in the world and was taken up into heaven.
1 John 4:2
- This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God: If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that person has the Spirit of God.
- If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world, and he is already here.
Acts 3:13
- For it is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the God of all our ancestors who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this. This is the same Jesus whom you handed over and rejected before Pilate, despite Pilate's decision to release him.
John 1:34
- I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Son of God. "
Acts 9:20
- And immediately he began preaching about Jesus in the synagogues, saying, "He is indeed the Son of God!"
John 3:16
- "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
- God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
- "There is no judgment awaiting those who trust him. But those who do not trust him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God.
Romans 1:9
- God knows how often I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God, whom I serve with all my heart by telling others the Good News about his Son.
Acts 13:22
- But God removed him from the kingship and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, 'David son of Jesse is a man after my own heart, for he will do everything I want him to.'
- "And it is one of King David's descendants, Jesus, who is God's promised Savior of Israel!
Colossians 1:13
- For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.
- God has purchased our freedom with his blood and has forgiven all our sins.
- Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation.

- All who proclaim that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

Romans 8:2
- For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death.
- The law of Moses could not save us, because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human body like ours, except that ours are sinful. God destroyed sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
1 John 1:3
- We are telling you about what we ourselves have actually seen and heard, so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
1 John 3:23
- And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.
1 John 5:10
- All who believe in the Son of God know that this is true. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don't believe what God has testified about his Son.
- And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- So whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have his Son does not have life.
- I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
Acts 8:36
- As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Look! There's some water! Why can't I be baptized?"
