Ephesians 2:14

  2. How different from this way of faith is the way of law, which says, "If you wish to find life by obeying the law, you must obey all of its commands."
  3. But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."
  4. Through the work of Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, and we Christians receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

John 3:16

  1. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
  2. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
  3. "There is no judgment awaiting those who trust him. But those who do not trust him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God.

Romans 3:30

  1. There is only one God, and there is only one way of being accepted by him. He makes people right with himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles.

Romans 4:24

  1. It was for us, too, assuring us that God will also declare us to be righteous if we believe in God, who brought Jesus our Lord back from the dead.
  2. He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised from the dead to make us right with God.

Romans 3:26

  1. And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he declares sinners to be right in his sight because they believe in Jesus.
  2. Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on our good deeds. It is based on our faith.
  3. So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.

Romans 9:30

  1. Well then, what shall we say about these things? Just this: The Gentiles have been made right with God by faith, even though they were not seeking him.

Galatians 5:4

  1. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's grace.
  2. But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive everything promised to us who are right with God through faith.
