Romans 4:5
5: But people are declared righteous because of their faith, not because of their work.
Philippians 3:9
- and become one with him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith.
Titus 3:3
- Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled by others and became slaves to many wicked desires and evil pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy. We hated others, and they hated us.
- But then God our Savior showed us his kindness and love.
- He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit.
- He generously poured out the Spirit upon us because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did.
- He declared us not guilty because of his great kindness. And now we know that we will inherit eternal life.
Romans 3:22
- We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.
Romans 10:9
- For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
- For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Galatians 3:8
- What's more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would accept the Gentiles, too, on the basis of their faith. God promised this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, "All nations will be blessed through you."
- And so it is: All who put their faith in Christ share the same blessing Abraham received because of his faith.
- But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, "Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all these commands that are written in God's Book of the Law."
- Consequently, it is clear that no one can ever be right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life."
- How different from this way of faith is the way of law, which says, "If you wish to find life by obeying the law, you must obey all of its commands."
1 Corinthians 6:9
- Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals,
- thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers--none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God.
- There was a time when some of you were just like that, but now your sins have been washed away, and you have been set apart for God. You have been made right with God because of what the Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God have done for you.
Romans 4:24
- It was for us, too, assuring us that God will also declare us to be righteous if we believe in God, who brought Jesus our Lord back from the dead.
- He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised from the dead to make us right with God.
- Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
- Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.
John 6:29

Romans 4:3

Romans 10:3
- For they don't understand God's way of making people right with himself. Instead, they are clinging to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. They won't go along with God's way.

Romans 5:6

Romans 1:17
- This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life."
- But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.
Zechariah 3:3
- Jeshua's clothing was filthy as he stood there before the angel.
- So the angel said to the others standing there, "Take off his filthy clothes." And turning to Jeshua he said, "See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes."
