19: When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, your lives will produce these evil results: sexual immorality, impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure,
1 Corinthians 6:9
- Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals,
- thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers--none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God.
1 Peter 4:2
- And you won't spend the rest of your life chasing after evil desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God.

Romans 1:21

- Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead.

- So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies.
- Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.
1 Corinthians 6:18
- Run away from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.

- I have followed your commands, which have kept me from going along with cruel and evil people.
Romans 7:5
- When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced sinful deeds, resulting in death.

- Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven.
Galatians 5:17
- The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.
Ephesians 4:17
- With the Lord's authority let me say this: Live no longer as the ungodly do, for they are hopelessly confused.
- Their closed minds are full of darkness; they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds and hardened their hearts against him.
- They don't care anymore about right and wrong, and they have given themselves over to immoral ways. Their lives are filled with all kinds of impurity and greed.
Romans 8:9
- But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them are not Christians at all.)

Romans 7:25
- Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.
Romans 8:3
- The law of Moses could not save us, because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human body like ours, except that ours are sinful. God destroyed sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
