Galatians 3:21
21: Well then, is there a conflict between God's law and God's promises? Absolutely not! If the law could have given us new life, we could have been made right with God by obeying it.
Galatians 2:21
- I am not one of those who treats the grace of God as meaningless. For if we could be saved by keeping the law, then there was no need for Christ to die.
Romans 3:20
- For no one can ever be made right in God's sight by doing what his law commands. For the more we know God's law, the clearer it becomes that we aren't obeying it.
- But now God has shown us a different way of being right in his sight--not by obeying the law but by the way promised in the Scriptures long ago.
- We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.

- But sin took advantage of this law and aroused all kinds of forbidden desires within me! If there were no law, sin would not have that power.
- I felt fine when I did not understand what the law demanded. But when I learned the truth, I realized I had broken the law and was a sinner, doomed to die.
- So the good law, which was supposed to show me the way of life, instead gave me the death penalty.
- Sin took advantage of the law and fooled me; it took the good law and used it to make me guilty of death.
Galatians 2:19
- For when I tried to keep the law, I realized I could never earn God's approval. So I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ.

- But what if we seek to be made right with God through faith in Christ and then find out that we are still sinners? Has Christ led us into sin? Of course not!

Matthew 5:17
- "Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to fulfill them.
- I assure you, until heaven and earth disappear, even the smallest detail of God's law will remain until its purpose is achieved.
- So if you break the smallest commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God's laws and teaches them will be great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
- "But I warn you--unless you obey God better than the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees do, you can't enter the Kingdom of Heaven at all!
Hebrews 11:7
- It was by faith that Noah built an ark to save his family from the flood. He obeyed God, who warned him about something that had never happened before. By his faith he condemned the rest of the world and was made right in God's sight.
