Galatians 2:19
19: For when I tried to keep the law, I realized I could never earn God's approval. So I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ.
Romans 6:11
- So you should consider yourselves dead to sin and able to live for the glory of God through Christ Jesus.
Romans 7:4
- So this is the point: The law no longer holds you in its power, because you died to its power when you died with Christ on the cross. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, you can produce good fruit, that is, good deeds for God.

- Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

- Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses and to bring the entire world into judgment before God.

- I felt fine when I did not understand what the law demanded. But when I learned the truth, I realized I had broken the law and was a sinner, doomed to die.
- So the good law, which was supposed to show me the way of life, instead gave me the death penalty.
1 Thessalonians 5:10
- He died for us so that we can live with him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of his return.
Hebrews 9:14
- Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our hearts from deeds that lead to death so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.
