Romans 8:35
35: Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death?

Hebrews 12:3

- As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Whoever heard of a child who was never disciplined?

- So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.
