Hosea 4:1

- You curse and lie and kill and steal and commit adultery. There is violence everywhere, with one murder after another.
- That is why your land is not producing. It is filled with sadness, and all living things are becoming sick and dying. Even the animals, birds, and fish have begun to disappear.

- Oh, that I could go away and forget them and live in a shack in the desert, for they are all adulterous and treacherous.
- "My people bend their tongues like bows to shoot lies. They refuse to stand up for the truth. And they only go from bad to worse! They care nothing for me," says the LORD.

- They all fool and defraud each other; no one tells the truth. With practiced tongues they tell lies; they wear themselves out with all their sinning.
- They pile lie upon lie and utterly refuse to come to me," says the LORD.

Ephesians 5:5
- You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is really an idolater who worships the things of this world.
- Don't be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the terrible anger of God comes upon all those who disobey him.
- Don't participate in the things these people do.
1 Kings 18:21
