Hebrews 13:9
9: So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your spiritual strength comes from God's special favor, not from ceremonial rules about food, which don't help those who follow them.
Ephesians 4:14

- Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.
2 Timothy 2:1
- Timothy, my dear son, be strong with the special favor God gives you in Christ Jesus.
- You have heard me teach many things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Teach these great truths to trustworthy people who are able to pass them on to others.

- For that old system deals only with food and drink and ritual washing--external regulations that are in effect only until their limitations can be corrected.

- that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who twist and change the truth concerning Christ.
- Let God's curse fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other message than the one we told you about. Even if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed.
- I will say it again: If anyone preaches any other gospel than the one you welcomed, let God's curse fall upon that person.

- Timothy, guard what God has entrusted to you. Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge.
