22: I urge you, dear brothers and sisters, please listen carefully to what I have said in this brief letter.
1 Peter 5:12
- I have written this short letter to you with the help of Silas, whom I consider a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that the grace of God is with you no matter what happens.
Hebrews 3:1

Hebrews 13:1

- Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
Hebrews 12:1
- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us.
- We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterward. Now he is seated in the place of highest honor beside God's throne in heaven.
2 Corinthians 5:20
- We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, "Be reconciled to God!"
Hebrews 13:12
- So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates in order to make his people holy by shedding his own blood.
- So let us go out to him outside the camp and bear the disgrace he bore.
- For this world is not our home; we are looking forward to our city in heaven, which is yet to come.
- With Jesus' help, let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of his name.
- Don't forget to do good and to share what you have with those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God.

- When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: "Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also."
- This means that the things on earth will be shaken, so that only eternal things will be left.
- Since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.

- Look after each other so that none of you will miss out on the special favor of God. Watch out that no bitter root of unbelief rises up among you, for whenever it springs up, many are corrupted by its poison.
- Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau. He traded his birthright as the oldest son for a single meal.
Hebrews 2:1
- So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.
Hebrews 6:11
- Our great desire is that you will keep right on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.
- Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and patience.
