Romans 4:16
- So that's why faith is the key! God's promise is given to us as a free gift. And we are certain to receive it, whether or not we follow Jewish customs, if we have faith like Abraham's. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.
Romans 4:24
- It was for us, too, assuring us that God will also declare us to be righteous if we believe in God, who brought Jesus our Lord back from the dead.
Romans 4:11

Galatians 3:29
- And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and now all the promises God gave to him belong to you.
Galatians 3:14

Galatians 4:28
- And you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac.
Galatians 3:7
- The real children of Abraham, then, are all those who put their faith in God.
- What's more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would accept the Gentiles, too, on the basis of their faith. God promised this good news to Abraham long ago when he said, "All nations will be blessed through you."
