Ephesians 6:5
5: Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.
1 Peter 2:18
- You who are slaves must accept the authority of your masters. Do whatever they tell you--not only if they are kind and reasonable, but even if they are harsh.
- For God is pleased with you when, for the sake of your conscience, you patiently endure unfair treatment.
- Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing right and are patient beneath the blows, God is pleased with you.
- This suffering is all part of what God has called you to. Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps.
Titus 2:9

- If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them.
- Some false teachers may deny these things, but these are the sound, wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they are the foundation for a godly life.
