Acts 8:1
1: Saul was one of the official witnesses at the killing of Stephen. A great wave of persecution began that day, sweeping over the church in Jerusalem, and all the believers except the apostles fled into Judea and Samaria.
Acts 7:58
- They dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. The official witnesses took off their coats and laid them at the feet of a young man named Saul.

- Meanwhile, the believers who had fled from Jerusalem during the persecution after Stephen's death traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch of Syria. They preached the Good News, but only to Jews.
- However, some of the believers who went to Antioch from Cyprus and Cyrene began preaching to Gentiles about the Lord Jesus.
- The power of the Lord was upon them, and large numbers of these Gentiles believed and turned to the Lord.
- When the church at Jerusalem heard what had happened, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.

- But the believers who had fled Jerusalem went everywhere preaching the Good News about Jesus.
Philippians 1:12
- And I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News.

- Moses was with the assembly of God's people in the wilderness. He was the mediator between the people of Israel and the angel who gave him life-giving words on Mount Sinai to pass on to us.
