Acts 21:21
21: Our Jewish Christians here at Jerusalem have been told that you are teaching all the Jews living in the Gentile world to turn their backs on the laws of Moses. They say that you teach people not to circumcise their children or follow other Jewish customs.
Acts 21:28
- yelling, "Men of Israel! Help! This is the man who teaches against our people and tells everybody to disobey the Jewish laws. He speaks against the Temple--and he even defiles it by bringing Gentiles in!"

- This means I am not bound to obey people just because they pay me, yet I have become a servant of everyone so that I can bring them to Christ.
- When I am with the Jews, I become one of them so that I can bring them to Christ. When I am with those who follow the Jewish laws, I do the same, even though I am not subject to the law, so that I can bring them to Christ.

Galatians 6:12
- Those who are trying to force you to be circumcised are doing it for just one reason. They don't want to be persecuted for teaching that the cross of Christ alone can save.
- And even those who advocate circumcision don't really keep the whole law. They only want you to be circumcised so they can brag about it and claim you as their disciples.
- As for me, God forbid that I should boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world died long ago, and the world's interest in me is also long dead.
- It doesn't make any difference now whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we really have been changed into new and different people.
Romans 14:1
- Accept Christians who are weak in faith, and don't argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.
- For instance, one person believes it is all right to eat anything. But another believer who has a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables.
- Those who think it is all right to eat anything must not look down on those who won't. And those who won't eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them.
- Who are you to condemn God's servants? They are responsible to the Lord, so let him tell them whether they are right or wrong. The Lord's power will help them do as they should.
- In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. Each person should have a personal conviction about this matter.
1 Corinthians 7:18
- For instance, a man who was circumcised before he became a believer should not try to reverse it. And the man who was uncircumcised when he became a believer should not be circumcised now.
- For it makes no difference whether or not a man has been circumcised. The important thing is to keep God's commandments.
Galatians 5:1
- So Christ has really set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law.
- Listen! I, Paul, tell you this: If you are counting on circumcision to make you right with God, then Christ cannot help you.
- I'll say it again. If you are trying to find favor with God by being circumcised, you must obey all of the regulations in the whole law of Moses.
- For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God's grace.
- But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive everything promised to us who are right with God through faith.
Acts 28:17
