Acts 1:3
3: During the forty days after his crucifixion, he appeared to the apostles from time to time and proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. On these occasions he talked to them about the Kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 15:5
- He was seen by Peter and then by the twelve apostles.
- After that, he was seen by more than five hundred of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died by now.
- Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles.
John 20:26
- Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. He said, "Peace be with you."

- She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, "They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!"
- Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.
- The other disciple outran Peter and got there first.
- He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.
Luke 17:20
- One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, "When will the Kingdom of God come?" Jesus replied, "The Kingdom of God isn't ushered in with visible signs.
- You won't be able to say, 'Here it is!' or 'It's over there!' For the Kingdom of God is among you. "
Luke 24:1
- But very early on Sunday morning the women came to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared.
- They found that the stone covering the entrance had been rolled aside.
- So they went in, but they couldn't find the body of the Lord Jesus.
- They were puzzled, trying to think what could have happened to it. Suddenly, two men appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes.
- The women were terrified and bowed low before them. Then the men asked, "Why are you looking in a tomb for someone who is alive?
Mark 16:10
- She went and found the disciples, who were grieving and weeping.
- But when she told them that Jesus was alive and she had seen him, they didn't believe her.
- Afterward he appeared to two who were walking from Jerusalem into the country, but they didn't recognize him at first because he had changed his appearance.
- When they realized who he was, they rushed back to tell the others, but no one believed them.
- Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their unbelief--their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
1 Kings 19:8
- So he got up and ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to travel forty days and forty nights to Mount Sinai, the mountain of God.
Matthew 28:16
- Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
- When they saw him, they worshiped him--but some of them still doubted!
Colossians 1:13
- For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.
