Psalms 27:3

3: Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will know no fear. Even if they attack me, I remain confident.

He said, "Listen, King Jehoshaphat! Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Don't be intimidated by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.

So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord.
That is why we live by believing and not by seeing.
Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.

"See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and ashamed. Anyone who opposes you will die.
You will look for them in vain. They will all be gone!

Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death?
(Even the Scriptures say, "For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep." )
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

Does your reverence for God give you no confidence? Shouldn't you believe that God will care for those who are upright?

Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The Devil will throw some of you into prison and put you to the test. You will be persecuted for 'ten days.' Remain faithful even when facing death, and I will give you the crown of life.

But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don't be afraid and don't worry.

I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals beneath the forge and makes the weapons of destruction. And I have created the armies that destroy.
But in that coming day, no weapon turned against you will succeed. And everyone who tells lies in court will be brought to justice. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken!

Then there was war in heaven. Michael and the angels under his command fought the dragon and his angels.
And the dragon lost the battle and was forced out of heaven.
This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, "It has happened at last--the salvation and power and kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ! For the Accuser has been thrown down to earth--the one who accused our brothers and sisters before our God day and night.
And they have defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony. And they were not afraid to die.

"Why have you disturbed me by calling me back?" Samuel asked. "Because I am in deep trouble," Saul replied. "The Philistines are at war with us, and God has left me and won't reply by prophets or dreams. So I have called for you to tell me what to do."
But Samuel replied, "Why ask me if the LORD has left you and has become your enemy?

When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. "Ah, my lord, what will we do now?" he cried out to Elisha.
"Don't be afraid!" Elisha told him. "For there are more on our side than on theirs!"
Then Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!" The LORD opened his servant's eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.
