Nehemiah 13:1
1: On that same day, as the Book of Moses was being read, the people found a statement which said that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever be permitted to enter the assembly of God.
Deuteronomy 23:3
- "No Ammonites or Moabites, or any of their descendants for ten generations, may be included in the assembly of the LORD.
- These nations did not welcome you with food and water when you came out of Egypt. Instead, they tried to hire Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in Aram-naharaim to curse you.
- (But the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam. He turned the intended curse into a blessing because the LORD your God loves you.)
Nehemiah 9:3
- The Book of the Law of the LORD their God was read aloud to them for about three hours. Then for three more hours they took turns confessing their sins and worshiping the LORD their God.

Nehemiah 8:3
- He faced the square just inside the Water Gate from early morning until noon and read aloud to everyone who could understand. All the people paid close attention to the Book of the Law.

Amos 1:13
- This is what the LORD says: "The people of Ammon have sinned again and again, and I will not forget it. I will not let them go unpunished any longer! When they attacked Gilead to extend their borders, they committed cruel crimes, ripping open pregnant women with their swords.
- So I will send down fire on the walls of Rabbah, and all its fortresses will be destroyed. There will be wild shouts during the battle, swirling like a whirlwind in a mighty storm.
- And their king and his princes will go into exile together. I, the LORD, have spoken!"

Isaiah 15:1
- This message came to me concerning Moab: In one night your cities of Ar and Kir will be destroyed.
- Your people in Dibon will mourn at their temples and shrines, weeping for the fate of Nebo and Medeba. They will shave their heads in sorrow and cut off their beards.
- They will wear sackcloth as they wander the streets. From every home will come the sound of weeping.
- The cries from the cities of Heshbon and Elealeh will be heard far away, even in Jahaz! The bravest warriors of Moab will cry out in utter terror.
- My heart weeps for Moab. Its people flee to Zoar and Eglath-shelishiyah. Weeping, they climb the road to Luhith. Their crying can be heard all along the road to Horonaim.
Psalms 83:7
- Gebalites, Ammonites, and Amalekites, and people from Philistia and Tyre.
- Assyria has joined them, too, and is allied with the descendants of Lot.
- Do to them as you did to the Midianites or as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the Kishon River.

Isaiah 34:16
- Search the book of the LORD, and see what he will do. He will not miss a single detail. Not one of these birds and animals will be missing, and none will lack a mate, for the LORD has promised this. His Spirit will make it all come true.
