11: you must read this law to all the people of Israel when they assemble before the LORD your God at the place he chooses.
2 Kings 23:2
- And the king went up to the Temple of the LORD with all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, and the priests, and the prophets--all the people from the least to the greatest. There the king read to them the entire Book of the Covenant that had been found in the LORD's Temple.

- Ezra the scribe stood on a high wooden platform that had been made for the occasion. To his right stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah. To his left stood Pedaiah, Mishael, Malkijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
- Ezra stood on the platform in full view of all the people. When they saw him open the book, they all rose to their feet.
Psalms 84:7
