50: But Jesus said, "Don't stop him! Anyone who is not against you is for you."

Some are preaching out of jealousy and rivalry. But others preach about Christ with pure motives.
They preach because they love me, for they know the Lord brought me here to defend the Good News.
Those others do not have pure motives as they preach about Christ. They preach with selfish ambition, not sincerely, intending to make my chains more painful to me.
But whether or not their motives are pure, the fact remains that the message about Christ is being preached, so I rejoice. And I will continue to rejoice.

"No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

So the Israelite leaders examined their bread, but they did not consult the LORD.

"'An enemy has done it!' the farmer exclaimed. "'Shall we pull out the weeds?' they asked.

So I want you to know how to discern what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus, and no one is able to say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
