Luke 22:8

8: Jesus sent Peter and John ahead and said, "Go and prepare the Passover meal, so we can eat it together."

But Peter and John replied, "Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him?

So Jesus sent two of them into Jerusalem to make the arrangements. "As you go into the city," he told them, "a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him.
At the house he enters, say to the owner, 'The Teacher asks, Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?'
He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is the place; go ahead and prepare our supper there."
So the two disciples went on ahead into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover supper there.

But Jesus said, "It must be done, because we must do everything that is right. "So then John baptized him.

But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.
God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.

They all rushed out to Solomon's Colonnade, where he was holding tightly to Peter and John. Everyone stood there in awe of the wonderful thing that had happened.

When the apostles back in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God's message, they sent Peter and John there.

Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o'clock prayer service.

The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men who had had no special training. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.

Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous in God's eyes, careful to obey all of the Lord's commandments and regulations.
