Acts 4:13
13: The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men who had had no special training. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.
1 Corinthians 1:27

- The woman asked Peter, "Aren't you one of Jesus' disciples?No," he said, "I am not."

- A servant girl noticed him in the firelight and began staring at him. Finally she said, "This man was one of Jesus' followers!"
- Peter denied it. "Woman," he said, "I don't even know the man!"
- After a while someone else looked at him and said, "You must be one of them!No, man, I'm not!" Peter replied.
- About an hour later someone else insisted, "This must be one of Jesus' disciples because he is a Galilean, too."
- But Peter said, "Man, I don't know what you are talking about." And as soon as he said these words, the rooster crowed.

- Jesus sent Peter and John ahead and said, "Go and prepare the Passover meal, so we can eat it together."

- A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, mending their nets. And he called them to come, too.
- They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind.

- These ignorant crowds do, but what do they know about it? A curse on them anyway!"
Luke 22:52
- Then Jesus spoke to the leading priests and captains of the Temple guard and the other leaders who headed the mob. "Am I some dangerous criminal," he asked, "that you have come armed with swords and clubs to arrest me?
- Why didn't you arrest me in the Temple? I was there every day. But this is your moment, the time when the power of darkness reigns."
- So they arrested him and led him to the high priest's residence, and Peter was following far behind.
John 19:26
- When Jesus saw his mother standing there beside the disciple he loved, he said to her, "Woman, he is your son."
