2 Corinthians 11:28

28: Then, besides all this, I have the daily burden of how the churches are getting along.

a special messenger from Christ Jesus to you Gentiles. I bring you the Good News and offer you up as a fragrant sacrifice to God so that you might be pure and pleasing to him by the Holy Spirit.

You must accept whatever situation the Lord has put you in, and continue on as you were when God first called you. This is my rule for all the churches.

When they arrived he declared, "You know that from the day I set foot in the province of Asia until now
I have done the Lord's work humbly--yes, and with tears. I have endured the trials that came to me from the plots of the Jews.
Yet I never shrank from telling you the truth, either publicly or in your homes.
I have had one message for Jews and Gentiles alike--the necessity of turning from sin and turning to God, and of faith in our Lord Jesus.
"And now I am going to Jerusalem, drawn there irresistibly by the Holy Spirit, not knowing what awaits me,

I want you to know how much I have agonized for you and for the church at Laodicea, and for many other friends who have never known me personally.

For I have a great sense of obligation to people in our culture and to people in other cultures, to the educated and uneducated alike.

I am saying all of this especially for you Gentiles. God has appointed me as the apostle to the Gentiles. I lay great stress on this,

In fact, they risked their lives for me. I am not the only one who is thankful to them; so are all the Gentile churches.

Along the way, he encouraged the believers in all the towns he passed through. Then he traveled down to Greece,

After spending some time in Antioch, Paul went back to Galatia and Phrygia, visiting all the believers, encouraging them and helping them to grow in the Lord.

Paul chose Silas, and the believers sent them off, entrusting them to the Lord's grace.
So they traveled throughout Syria and Cilicia to strengthen the churches there.

After some time Paul said to Barnabas, "Let's return to each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are getting along."
