2 Chronicles 36:18
- The king also took home to Babylon all the utensils, large and small, used in the Temple of God, and the treasures from both the LORD's Temple and the royal palace. He also took with him all the royal princes.
Ezra 1:7
- King Cyrus himself brought out the valuable items which King Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the LORD's Temple in Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his own gods.
- Cyrus directed Mithredath, the treasurer of Persia, to count these items and present them to Sheshbazzar, the leader of the exiles returning to Judah.

- In all, 5,400 gold and silver items were turned over to Sheshbazzar to take back to Jerusalem when the exiles returned there from Babylon.
Leviticus 24:5
- "You must bake twelve loaves of bread from choice flour, using three quarts of flour for each loaf.
- Place the bread in the LORD's presence on the pure gold table, and arrange the loaves in two rows, with six in each row.
- Sprinkle some pure frankincense near each row. It will serve as a token offering, to be burned in place of the bread as an offering given to the LORD by fire.
- Every Sabbath day this bread must be laid out before the LORD on behalf of the Israelites as a continual part of the covenant.
2 Chronicles 26:16
- But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall. He sinned against the LORD his God by entering the sanctuary of the LORD's Temple and personally burning incense on the altar.
- Azariah the high priest went in after him with eighty other priests of the LORD, all brave men.
- They confronted King Uzziah and said, "It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD. That is the work of the priests alone, the sons of Aaron who are set apart for this work. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have sinned. The LORD God will not honor you for this!"

Exodus 37:25
- The incense altar was made of acacia wood. It was eighteen inches square and three feet high, with its corner horns made from the same piece of wood as the altar itself.
- He overlaid the top, sides, and horns of the altar with pure gold and ran a gold molding around the edge.
- Two gold rings were placed on opposite sides, beneath the molding, to hold the carrying poles.
- The carrying poles were made of acacia wood and were overlaid with gold.

- Overlay it with pure gold and run a molding of gold around it.
- Put a rim about three inches wide around the top edge, and put a gold molding all around the rim.
- Make four gold rings, and put the rings at the four corners by the four legs,
- close to the rim around the top. These rings will support the poles used to carry the table.
2 Kings 24:13
- As the LORD had said beforehand, Nebuchadnezzar carried away all the treasures from the LORD's Temple and the royal palace. They cut apart all the gold vessels that King Solomon of Israel had placed in the Temple.
Exodus 30:1
- "Then make a small altar out of acacia wood for burning incense.
- It must be eighteen inches square and three feet high, with horns at the corners carved from the same piece of wood as the altar.
- Overlay the top, sides, and horns of the altar with pure gold, and run a gold molding around the entire altar.
- Beneath the molding, on opposite sides of the altar, attach two gold rings to support the carrying poles.
- The poles are to be made of acacia wood and overlaid with gold.
Revelation 9:13
- Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice speaking from the four horns of the gold altar that stands in the presence of God.
