26: And so all Israel will be saved. Do you remember what the prophets said about this? "A Deliverer will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel from all ungodliness.
Isaiah 59:20
- "The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem, "says the LORD, "to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins.
Jeremiah 31:31
- "The day will come," says the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.
- This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife," says the LORD.
- "But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day," says the LORD. "I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
- And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their family, saying, `You should know the LORD.' For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will already know me," says the LORD. "And I will forgive their wickedness and will never again remember their sins."
- It is the LORD who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night. It is he who stirs the sea into roaring waves. His name is the LORD Almighty, and this is what he says:
Zechariah 10:6
- "I will strengthen Judah and save Israel; I will reestablish them because I love them. It will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the LORD their God, who will hear their cries.
- The people of Israel will become like mighty warriors, and their hearts will be happy as if by wine. Their children, too, will see it all and be glad; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD.
- When I whistle to them, they will come running, for I have redeemed them. From the few that are left, their population will grow again to its former size.
- Though I have scattered them like seeds among the nations, still they will remember me in distant lands. With their children, they will survive and come home again to Israel.
- I will bring them back from Egypt and Assyria and resettle them in Gilead and Lebanon. There won't be enough room for them all!
Amos 9:14
- I will bring my exiled people of Israel back from distant lands, and they will rebuild their ruined cities and live in them again. They will plant vineyards and gardens; they will eat their crops and drink their wine.
- I will firmly plant them there in the land I have given them," says the LORD your God. "Then they will never be uprooted again."
Hosea 3:5
- But afterward the people will return to the LORD their God and to David's descendant, their king. They will come trembling in awe to the LORD, and they will receive his good gifts in the last days.

Isaiah 45:17
- But the LORD will save the people of Israel with eternal salvation. They will never again be humiliated and disgraced throughout everlasting ages.
Ezekiel 37:21
- And give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own land from the places where they have been scattered.
- I will unify them into one nation in the land. One king will rule them all; no longer will they be divided into two nations.
- They will stop polluting themselves with their detestable idols and other sins, for I will save them from their sinful backsliding. I will cleanse them. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.
- "My servant David will be their king, and they will have only one shepherd. They will obey my regulations and keep my laws.
- They will live in the land of Israel where their ancestors lived, the land I gave my servant Jacob. They and their children and their grandchildren after them will live there forever, generation after generation. And my servant David will be their prince forever.

Isaiah 11:11

- He will raise a flag among the nations for Israel to rally around. He will gather the scattered people of Judah from the ends of the earth.
- Then at last the jealousy between Israel and Judah will end. They will not fight against each other anymore.
- They will join forces to swoop down on Philistia to the west. Together they will attack and plunder the nations to the east. They will occupy all the lands of Edom, Moab, and Ammon.
- The LORD will make a dry path through the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams that can easily be crossed.
Jeremiah 30:17
- I will give you back your health and heal your wounds, says the LORD. "Now you are called an outcast--`Jerusalem for whom nobody cares.'
- But the LORD says this: When I bring you home again from your captivity and restore your fortunes, Jerusalem will be rebuilt on her ruins. The palace will be reconstructed as it was before.
- There will be joy and songs of thanksgiving, and I will multiply my people and make of them a great and honored nation.
- Their children will prosper as they did long ago. I will establish them as a nation before me, and I will punish anyone who hurts them.
- They will have their own ruler again, and he will not be a foreigner. I will invite him to approach me, says the LORD, for who would dare to come unless invited?
Zephaniah 3:12
- Those who are left will be the lowly and the humble, for it is they who trust in the name of the LORD.
- The people of Israel who survive will do no wrong to each other, never telling lies or deceiving one another. They will live peaceful lives, lying down to sleep in safety; there will be no one to make them afraid."
- Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!
- For the LORD will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies of your enemy. And the LORD himself, the King of Israel, will live among you! At last your troubles will be over, and you will fear disaster no more.
- On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, "Cheer up, Zion! Don't be afraid!
Jeremiah 3:17
- In that day Jerusalem will be known as The Throne of the LORD. All nations will come there to honor the LORD. They will no longer stubbornly follow their own evil desires.
- In those days the people of Judah and Israel will return together from exile in the north. They will return to the land I gave their ancestors as an inheritance forever.
- "I thought to myself, `I would love to treat you as my own children!' I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land--the finest inheritance in the world. I looked forward to your calling me `Father,' and I thought you would never turn away from me again.
- But you have betrayed me, you people of Israel! You have been like a faithless wife who leaves her husband," says the LORD.
- Voices are heard high on the windswept mountains, the weeping and pleading of Israel's people. For they have forgotten the LORD their God and wandered far from his ways.
Ezekiel 34:22
- So I will rescue my flock, and they will no longer be abused and destroyed. And I will judge between one sheep and another.
- And I will set one shepherd over them, even my servant David. He will feed them and be a shepherd to them.
- And I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David will be a prince among my people. I, the LORD, have spoken!
- "I will make a covenant of peace with them and drive away the dangerous animals from the land. Then my people will be able to camp safely in the wildest places and sleep in the woods without fear.
- I will cause my people and their homes around my holy hill to be a blessing. And I will send showers, showers of blessings, which will come just when they are needed.
Isaiah 54:6
- For the LORD has called you back from your grief--as though you were a young wife abandoned by her husband," says your God.
- "For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back.
- In a moment of anger I turned my face away for a little while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you," says the LORD, your Redeemer.
- "Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth and destroy its life, so now I swear that I will never again pour out my anger on you.
- For the mountains may depart and the hills disappear, but even then I will remain loyal to you. My covenant of blessing will never be broken," says the LORD, who has mercy on you.
Jeremiah 33:24
- "Have you heard what people are saying?--`The LORD chose Judah and Israel and then abandoned them!' They are sneering and saying that Israel is not worthy to be counted as a nation.
- But this is the LORD's reply: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws of night and day, of earth and sky.
- I will never abandon the descendants of Jacob or David, my servant, or change the plan that David's descendants will rule the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore them to their land and have mercy on them."
Jeremiah 32:37
- I will surely bring my people back again from all the countries where I will scatter them in my fury. I will bring them back to this very city and let them live in peace and safety.
- They will be my people, and I will be their God.
- And I will give them one heart and mind to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants.
- "And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, promising not to stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.
- I will rejoice in doing good to them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.
Micah 7:15
- "Yes," says the LORD, "I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt."
- All the nations of the world will stand amazed at what the LORD will do for you. They will be embarrassed that their power is so insignificant. They will stand in silent awe, deaf to everything around them.
- They will come to realize what lowly creatures they really are. Like snakes crawling from their holes, they will come out to meet the LORD our God. They will fear him greatly, trembling in terror at his presence.
- Where is another God like you, who pardons the sins of the survivors among his people? You cannot stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing mercy.
- Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!
Psalms 106:47
- O LORD our God, save us! Gather us back from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.
Ezekiel 39:25
- "So now the Sovereign LORD says: I will end the captivity of my people; I will have mercy on Israel, for I am jealous for my holy reputation!
- They will accept responsibility for their past shame and treachery against me after they come home to live in peace and safety in their own land. And then no one will bother them or make them afraid.
- When I bring them home from the lands of their enemies, my holiness will be displayed to the nations.
- Then my people will know that I am the LORD their God--responsible for sending them away to exile and responsible for bringing them home. I will leave none of my people behind.
- And I will never again turn my back on them, for I will pour out my Spirit upon them, says the Sovereign LORD."
