Proverbs 1:2
2: The purpose of these proverbs is to teach people wisdom and discipline, and to help them understand wise sayings.
Deuteronomy 4:5
- "You must obey these laws and regulations when you arrive in the land you are about to enter and occupy. The LORD my God gave them to me and commanded me to pass them on to you.
- If you obey them carefully, you will display your wisdom and intelligence to the surrounding nations. When they hear about these laws, they will exclaim, `What other nation is as wise and prudent as this!'
Proverbs 7:4
- Love wisdom like a sister; make insight a beloved member of your family.
Proverbs 17:16
- It is senseless to pay tuition to educate a fool who has no heart for wisdom.
2 Timothy 3:15
- You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.

Proverbs 8:5

1 Kings 3:9
