Proverbs 13:20

20: Whoever walks with the wise will become wise; whoever walks with fools will suffer harm.

Don't be fooled by those who say such things, for "bad company corrupts good character."
Come to your senses and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don't even know God.

Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can goodness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?
What harmony can there be between Christ and the Devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever?
And what union can there be between God's temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: "I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
Therefore, come out from them and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don't touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. "

Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, "Come away from her, my people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her.

They may say, "Come and join us. Let's hide and kill someone! Let's ambush the innocent!
Let's swallow them alive as the grave swallows its victims. Though they are in the prime of life, they will go down into the pit of death.
And the loot we'll get! We'll fill our houses with all kinds of things!
Come on, throw in your lot with us; we'll split our loot with you."
Don't go along with them, my child! Stay far away from their paths.

They joined with the other believers and devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, sharing in the Lord's Supper and in prayer.

Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and loved to think about him.

He followed her at once, like an ox going to the slaughter or like a trapped stag,
awaiting the arrow that would pierce its heart. He was like a bird flying into a snare, little knowing it would cost him his life.

Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose speech is corrupt.
These people turn from right ways to walk down dark and evil paths.
They rejoice in doing wrong, and they enjoy evil as it turns things upside down.
What they do is crooked, and their ways are wrong.
Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman, from the flattery of the adulterous woman.

The young men replied, "This is what you should tell those complainers: `My little finger is thicker than my father's waist--if you think he was hard on you, just wait and see what I'll be like!

But Rehoboam rejected the advice of the elders and instead asked the opinion of the young men who had grown up with him and who were now his advisers.

So while Abram stayed in the land of Canaan, Lot moved his tents to a place near Sodom, among the cities of the plain.
The people of this area were unusually wicked and sinned greatly against the LORD.

Jehu son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him. "Why should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD?" he asked the king. "What you have done has brought the LORD's anger against you.

They also captured Lot--Abram's nephew who lived in Sodom--and took everything he owned.

Then he turned to Jehoshaphat and asked, "Will you join me in fighting against Ramoth-gilead?" And Jehoshaphat replied to King Ahab, "Why, of course! You and I are brothers, and my troops are yours to command. Even my horses are at your service."

"Tell me, O my love, where are you leading your flock today? Where will you rest your sheep at noon? For why should I wander like a prostitute among the flocks of your companions?"
If you dont know, O most beautiful woman, follow the trail of my flock to the shepherds tents, and there feed your young goats.

So when the Aramean charioteers saw Jehoshaphat in his royal robes, they went after him. "There is the king of Israel!" they shouted. But when Jehoshaphat cried out,
