Matthew 18:17
17: If that person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. If the church decides you are right, but the other person won't accept it, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector.
2 Thessalonians 3:6

- It isn't my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your job to judge those inside the church who are sinning in these ways.
- God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, "You must remove the evil person from among you."
Ephesians 4:17
- With the Lord's authority let me say this: Live no longer as the ungodly do, for they are hopelessly confused.
- Their closed minds are full of darkness; they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds and hardened their hearts against him.
- They don't care anymore about right and wrong, and they have given themselves over to immoral ways. Their lives are filled with all kinds of impurity and greed.
Romans 16:17
- And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people's faith by teaching things that are contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.
- Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.
