Mark 16:14
14: Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their unbelief--their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
Luke 24:36
- And just as they were telling about it, Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them. He said, "Peace be with you."
- But the whole group was terribly frightened, thinking they were seeing a ghost!
- "Why are you frightened?" he asked. "Why do you doubt who I am?
- Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it's really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don't have bodies, as you see that I do!"
- As he spoke, he held out his hands for them to see, and he showed them his feet.

- And who were those people who rebelled against God, even though they heard his voice? Weren't they the ones Moses led out of Egypt?
- And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn't it the people who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
- And to whom was God speaking when he vowed that they would never enter his place of rest? He was speaking to those who disobeyed him.
- So we see that they were not allowed to enter his rest because of their unbelief.
Revelation 3:19
- I am the one who corrects and disciplines everyone I love. Be diligent and turn from your indifference.
Mark 16:11
- But when she told them that Jesus was alive and she had seen him, they didn't believe her.
- Afterward he appeared to two who were walking from Jerusalem into the country, but they didn't recognize him at first because he had changed his appearance.
- When they realized who he was, they rushed back to tell the others, but no one believed them.
