46: Then there was an argument among them as to which of them would be the greatest.
Matthew 18:1
- About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Which of us is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?"
- Jesus called a small child over to him and put the child among them.
- Then he said, "I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.
- Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
- And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.
Mark 9:33
- After they arrived at Capernaum, Jesus and his disciples settled in the house where they would be staying. Jesus asked them, "What were you discussing out on the road?"
- But they didn't answer, because they had been arguing about which of them was the greatest.

- "Do this instead--sit at the foot of the table. Then when your host sees you, he will come and say, 'Friend, we have a better place than this for you!' Then you will be honored in front of all the other guests.
