11: I assure you, I am telling you what we know and have seen, and yet you won't believe us.

- So we have these three witnesses--
- the Spirit, the water, and the blood--and all three agree.
- Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son.
- All who believe in the Son of God know that this is true. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don't believe what God has testified about his Son.

1 John 1:1
- The one who existed from the beginning is the one we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is Jesus Christ, the Word of life.
- This one who is life from God was shown to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and announce to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was shown to us.
- We are telling you about what we ourselves have actually seen and heard, so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
John 3:3
- Jesus replied, "I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God."
