15: "If you love me, obey my commandments.
1 John 2:3
- And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By obeying his commandments.
- If someone says, "I belong to God," but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and does not live in the truth.
- But those who obey God's word really do love him. That is the way to know whether or not we live in him.
1 John 5:2
- We know we love God's children if we love God and obey his commandments.
- Loving God means keeping his commandments, and really, that isn't difficult.
John 14:21
- Those who obey my commandments are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them, and I will love them. And I will reveal myself to each one of them."
- Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to him, "Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?"

Philippians 1:20

- For to me, living is for Christ, and dying is even better.
