Hosea 4:2
2: You curse and lie and kill and steal and commit adultery. There is violence everywhere, with one murder after another.
Hosea 6:9

- Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice.
Jeremiah 5:7
- "How can I pardon you? For even your children have turned from me. They have sworn by gods that are not gods at all! I fed my people until they were fully satisfied. But they thanked me by committing adultery and lining up at the city's brothels.
- They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor's wife.
- Should I not punish them for this?" asks the LORD. "Should I not avenge myself against a nation such as this?
Hosea 12:14
- But the people of Israel have bitterly provoked the LORD, so their Lord will now sentence them to death in payment for their sins.

Micah 2:1

- When you want a certain piece of land, you find a way to seize it. When you want someone's house, you take it by fraud and violence. No one's family or inheritance is safe with you around!
- But this is what the LORD says: "I will reward your evil with evil; you won't be able to escape! After I am through with you, none of you will ever again walk proudly in the streets."

- "Run up and down every street in Jerusalem," says the LORD. "Look high and low; search throughout the city! If you can find even one person who is just and honest, I will not destroy the city.
