Hebrews 6:16
16: When people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding.
Exodus 22:11
- The neighbor must then take an oath of innocence in the presence of the LORD. The owner must accept the neighbor's word, and no payment will be required.

Joshua 9:15
