Galatians 6:14
14: As for me, God forbid that I should boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world died long ago, and the world's interest in me is also long dead.
Galatians 2:20

- so that, somehow, I can experience the resurrection from the dead!
Colossians 3:1
- Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God's right hand in the place of honor and power.
- Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth.
- For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

- Of course not! If God is not just, how is he qualified to judge the world?
2 Corinthians 5:14
- Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for everyone, we also believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live.
- He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them.
- So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though he were merely a human being. How differently I think about him now!
