Acts 14:19

- The next morning a group of Jews got together and bound themselves with an oath to neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul.
- There were more than forty of them.
- They went to the leading priests and other leaders and told them what they had done. "We have bound ourselves under oath to neither eat nor drink until we have killed Paul.
Acts 13:50
- Then the Jewish leaders stirred up both the influential religious women and the leaders of the city, and they incited a mob against Paul and Barnabas and ran them out of town.
2 Corinthians 1:8

Acts 21:28

- (For earlier that day they had seen him in the city with Trophimus, a Gentile from Ephesus, and they assumed Paul had taken him into the Temple.)
- The whole population of the city was rocked by these accusations, and a great riot followed. Paul was dragged out of the Temple, and immediately the gates were closed behind him.
- As they were trying to kill him, word reached the commander of the Roman regiment that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
- He immediately called out his soldiers and officers and ran down among the crowd. When the mob saw the commander and the troops coming, they stopped beating Paul.
Acts 28:28
- So I want you to realize that this salvation from God is also available to the Gentiles, and they will accept it."
Acts 19:28
- At this their anger boiled, and they began shouting, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!"
- A crowd began to gather, and soon the city was filled with confusion. Everyone rushed to the amphitheater, dragging along Gaius and Aristarchus, who were Paul's traveling companions from Macedonia.
- Paul wanted to go in, but the believers wouldn't let him.
- Some of the officials of the province, friends of Paul, also sent a message to him, begging him not to risk his life by entering the amphitheater.
- Inside, the people were all shouting, some one thing and some another. Everything was in confusion. In fact, most of them didn't even know why they were there.
2 Corinthians 4:8
- We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don't give up and quit.
- We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going.
- Through suffering, these bodies of ours constantly share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.

- And he drove them out of the courtroom.
Galatians 2:9
- In fact, James, Peter, and John, who were known as pillars of the church, recognized the gift God had given me, and they accepted Barnabas and me as their co-workers. They encouraged us to keep preaching to the Gentiles, while they continued their work with the Jews.
