1: Soon the news reached the apostles and other believers in Judea that the Gentiles had received the word of God.
Psalms 22:27

Isaiah 52:10
- The LORD will demonstrate his holy power before the eyes of all the nations. The ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.
Psalms 96:1
- Sing a new song to the LORD! Let the whole earth sing to the LORD!
- Sing to the LORD; bless his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
- Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
- Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be revered above all the gods.
- The gods of other nations are merely idols, but the LORD made the heavens!
Isaiah 49:6
- He says, "You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles, and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."
Jeremiah 16:19
- LORD, you are my strength and fortress, my refuge in the day of trouble! Nations from around the world will come to you and say, "Our ancestors were foolish, for they worshiped worthless idols.
Acts 14:27
- Upon arriving in Antioch, they called the church together and reported about their trip, telling all that God had done and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles, too.

- The church sent the delegates to Jerusalem, and they stopped along the way in Phoenicia and Samaria to visit the believers. They told them--much to everyone's joy--that the Gentiles, too, were being converted.
