Psalms 8:5

5: For you made us only a little lower than God, and you crowned us with glory and honor.

What we do see is Jesus, who "for a little while was made lower than the angels" and now is "crowned with glory and honor" because he suffered death for us. Yes, by God's grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone in all the world.

For a little while you made him lower than the angels, and you crowned him with glory and honor.

Then God said, "Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves. They will be masters over all life--the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the livestock, wild animals, and small animals."
So God created people in his own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them.

We all know that Jesus came to help the descendants of Abraham, not to help the angels.

You welcomed him back with success and prosperity. You placed a crown of finest gold on his head.
He asked you to preserve his life, and you have granted his request. The days of his life stretch on forever.
Your victory brings him great honor, and you have clothed him with splendor and majesty.

And the LORD God formed a man's body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And the man became a living person.

He made himself nothing; he took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form.
And in human form he obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal's death on a cross.
Because of this, God raised him up to the heights of heaven and gave him a name that is above every other name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, "The time has come for me, the Son of Man, to enter into my glory, and God will receive glory because of all that happens to me.
And God will bring me into my glory very soon.

God chose him for this purpose long before the world began, but now in these final days, he was sent to the earth for all to see. And he did this for you.
Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And because God raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory, your faith and hope can be placed confidently in God.

Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come.

My heart overflows with a beautiful thought! I will recite a lovely poem to the king, for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.
You are the most handsome of all. Gracious words stream from your lips. God himself has blessed you forever.
Put on your sword, O mighty warrior! You are so glorious, so majestic!

Praise the LORD, you angels of his, you mighty creatures who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.

Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. Your royal power is expressed in justice.

"If God cannot trust his own angels and has charged some of them with folly,
how much less will he trust those made of clay! Their foundation is dust, and they are crushed as easily as moths.
They are alive in the morning, but by evening they are dead, gone forever without a trace.
