13: Though they lived among the sheepfolds, now they are covered with silver and gold, as a dove is covered by its wings.

Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals,
thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers--none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God.

and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the commander of all the rulers of the world. All praise to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.
He has made us his Kingdom and his priests who serve before God his Father. Give to him everlasting glory! He rules forever and ever! Amen!

And I helped you to thrive like a plant in the field. You grew up and became a beautiful jewel. Your breasts became full, and your hair grew, though you were still naked.
And when I passed by and saw you again, you were old enough to be married. So I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declared my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign LORD, and you became mine.
"Then I bathed you and washed off your blood, and I rubbed fragrant oils into your skin.
I gave you expensive clothing of linen and silk, beautifully embroidered, and sandals made of fine leather.

to make her holy and clean, washed by baptism and God's word.
He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.

You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols.
