Psalms 89:38
- But now you have rejected him. Why are you so angry with the one you chose as king?

1 Timothy 4:1
- Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings that come from demons.
- These teachers are hypocrites and liars. They pretend to be religious, but their consciences are dead.
- They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanksgiving by people who know and believe the truth.
2 Thessalonians 2:3
- Don't be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed--the one who brings destruction.
- He will exalt himself and defy every god there is and tear down every object of adoration and worship. He will position himself in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.
- Don't you remember that I told you this when I was with you?
- And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes.
- For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way.
Job 21:21

- These two prophets are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of all the earth.
- If anyone tries to harm them, fire flashes from the mouths of the prophets and consumes their enemies. This is how anyone who tries to harm them must die.
- They have power to shut the skies so that no rain will fall for as long as they prophesy. And they have the power to turn the rivers and oceans into blood, and to send every kind of plague upon the earth as often as they wish.
2 Timothy 3:1
- You should also know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.
- For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.
- They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good.
- They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.
- They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.
Revelation 12:13
- And when the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the child.
- But she was given two wings like those of a great eagle. This allowed her to fly to a place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be cared for and protected from the dragon for a time, times, and half a time.
- Then the dragon tried to drown the woman with a flood of water that flowed from its mouth.
- But the earth helped her by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that gushed out from the mouth of the dragon.
- Then the dragon became angry at the woman, and he declared war against the rest of her children--all who keep God's commandments and confess that they belong to Jesus.
