Proverbs 11:10

10: The whole city celebrates when the godly succeed; they shout for joy when the godless die.

When the godly succeed, everyone is glad. When the wicked take charge, people go into hiding.

Then Mordecai put on the royal robe of blue and white and the great crown of gold, and he wore an outer cloak of fine linen and purple. And the people of Susa celebrated the new decree.
The Jews were filled with joy and gladness and were honored everywhere.

"LORD, may all your enemies die as Sisera did! But may those who love you rise like the sun at full strength!" Then there was peace in the land for forty years.

The godly will rejoice when they see injustice avenged. They will wash their feet in the blood of the wicked.
Then at last everyone will say, "There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth."

And Miriam sang this song: "I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has thrown both horse and rider into the sea."

When the wicked take charge, people hide. When the wicked meet disaster, the godly multiply.

After this, I heard the sound of a vast crowd in heaven shouting, "Hallelujah! Salvation is from our God. Glory and power belong to him alone.
His judgments are just and true. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and he has avenged the murder of his servants."
Again and again their voices rang, "Hallelujah! The smoke from that city ascends forever and forever!"
Then the twenty-four elders and the four living beings fell down and worshiped God, who was sitting on the throne. They cried out, "Amen! Hallelujah!"
And from the throne came a voice that said, "Praise our God, all his servants, from the least to the greatest, all who fear him."
