2: These women went and stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the tribal leaders, and the entire community at the entrance of the Tabernacle.
Numbers 15:33

Exodus 18:19
- Now let me give you a word of advice, and may God be with you. You should continue to be the people's representative before God, bringing him their questions to be decided.

- If you follow this advice, and if God directs you to do so, then you will be able to endure the pressures, and all these people will go home in peace."
Deuteronomy 17:8
- "Suppose a case arises in a local court that is too hard for you to decide--for instance, whether someone is guilty of murder or only of manslaughter, or a difficult lawsuit, or a case involving different kinds of assault. Take such cases to the place the LORD your God will choose,
- where the Levitical priests and the judge on duty will hear the case and decide what to do.
- The decision they make at the place the LORD chooses will always stand. You must do exactly what they say.
Exodus 18:13
- The next day, Moses sat as usual to hear the people's complaints against each other. They were lined up in front of him from morning till evening.
- When Moses' father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he said, "Why are you trying to do all this alone? The people have been standing here all day to get your help."
