4: Then the people of Israel set out from Mount Hor, taking the road to the Red Sea to go around the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient along the way,

- Because Edom refused to allow Israel to pass through their country, Israel was forced to turn around.
- The whole community of Israel left Kadesh as a group and arrived at Mount Hor.
