9: "You saw the sufferings and sorrows of our ancestors in Egypt, and you heard their cries from beside the Red Sea.

Exodus 3:7

  1. Then the LORD told him, "You can be sure I have seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries for deliverance from their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering.

  4. But Moses told the people, "Don't be afraid. Just stand where you are and watch the LORD rescue you. The Egyptians that you see today will never be seen again.
  5. The LORD himself will fight for you. You won't have to lift a finger in your defense!"
