13: But instead of going to Nazareth, he went to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.

Jesus and his companions went to the town of Capernaum, and every Sabbath day he went into the synagogue and taught the people.

In the course of his journey through Galilee, he arrived at the town of Cana, where he had turned the water into wine. There was a government official in the city of Capernaum whose son was very sick.

And you people of Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in Sodom, it would still be here today.

When the crowd saw that Jesus wasn't there, nor his disciples, they got into the boats and went across to Capernaum to look for him.

The sixth allotment of land went to the families of the tribe of Naphtali.
Its boundary ran from Heleph, from the oak at Zaanannim, and extended across to Adami-nekeb, Jabneel, and as far as Lakkum, ending at the Jordan River.
The western boundary ran past Aznoth-tabor, then to Hukkok, and touched the boundary of Zebulun in the south, the boundary of Asher on the west, and the Jordan River on the east.
The fortified cities included in this territory were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,

On their arrival in Capernaum, the tax collectors for the Temple tax came to Peter and asked him, "Doesn't your teacher pay the Temple tax?"

The third allotment of land went to the families of the tribe of Zebulun. The boundary of Zebulun's inheritance started at Sarid.
From there it went west, going past Maralah, touching Dabbesheth, and proceeding to the brook east of Jokneam.
In the other direction, the boundary line went east from Sarid to the border of Kisloth-tabor, and from there to Daberath and up to Japhia.
Then it continued east to Gath-hepher, Eth-kazin, and Rimmon and turned toward Neah.
The northern boundary of Zebulun passed Hannathon and ended at the valley of Iphtah-el.

After the wedding he went to Capernaum for a few days with his mother, his brothers, and his disciples.

Then he said, "Probably you will quote me that proverb, 'Physician, heal yourself'--meaning, 'Why don't you do miracles here in your hometown like those you did in Capernaum?'

But as darkness fell and Jesus still hadn't come back, they got into the boat and headed out across the lake toward Capernaum.
