Matthew 26:32

32: But after I have been raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there."

Then Jesus said to them, "Don't be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there."

They will whip him and kill him, but on the third day he will rise again."
But they didn't understand a thing he said. Its significance was hidden from them, and they failed to grasp what he was talking about.

Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.

As they descended the mountainside, he told them not to tell anyone what they had seen until he, the Son of Man, had risen from the dead.
So they kept it to themselves, but they often asked each other what he meant by "rising from the dead."

Now go and give this message to his disciples, including Peter: Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died!"

From then on Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that he had to go to Jerusalem, and he told them what would happen to him there. He would suffer at the hands of the leaders and the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, and he would be raised on the third day.

Then they will hand him over to the Romans to be mocked, whipped, and crucified. But on the third day he will be raised from the dead."

He isn't here! He has been raised from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.
And now, go quickly and tell his disciples he has been raised from the dead, and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember, I have told you."

After that, he was seen by more than five hundred of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died by now.

But after I am raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there."

They told him, "Sir, we remember what that deceiver once said while he was still alive: 'After three days I will be raised from the dead.'
So we request that you seal the tomb until the third day. This will prevent his disciples from coming and stealing his body and then telling everyone he came back to life! If that happens, we'll be worse off than we were at first."

Later Jesus appeared again to the disciples beside the Sea of Galilee. This is how it happened.
Several of the disciples were there--Simon Peter, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin ), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples.
Simon Peter said, "I'm going fishing.We'll come, too," they all said. So they went out in the boat, but they caught nothing all night.
At dawn the disciples saw Jesus standing on the beach, but they couldn't see who he was.
He called out, "Friends, have you caught any fish?No," they replied.
