36: The sick begged him to let them touch even the fringe of his robe, and all who touched it were healed.

Everyone was trying to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and they were all cured.

a woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe,
for she thought, "If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed."

There had been many healings that day. As a result, many sick people were crowding around him, trying to touch him.

God gave Paul the power to do unusual miracles,
so that even when handkerchiefs or cloths that had touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and any evil spirits within them came out.

"Say to the people of Israel: `Throughout the generations to come you must make tassels for the hems of your clothing and attach the tassels at each corner with a blue cord.
The tassels will remind you of the commands of the LORD, and that you are to obey his commands instead of following your own desires and going your own ways, as you are prone to do.

For if the correct time for circumcising your son falls on the Sabbath, you go ahead and do it, so as not to break the law of Moses. So why should I be condemned for making a man completely well on the Sabbath?

"The name of Jesus has healed this man--and you know how lame he was before. Faith in Jesus' name has caused this healing before your very eyes.

Make pomegranates out of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and attach them to the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them.
The gold bells and pomegranates are to alternate all the way around the hem.
Aaron will wear this robe whenever he enters the Holy Place to minister to the LORD, and the bells will tinkle as he goes in and out of the LORD's presence. If he wears it, he will not die.
"Next make a medallion of pure gold. Using the techniques of an engraver, inscribe it with these words: SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD.
This medallion will be attached to the front of Aaron's turban by means of a blue cord.

But since the man who had been healed was standing right there among them, the council had nothing to say.
So they sent Peter and John out of the council chamber and conferred among themselves.
"What should we do with these men?" they asked each other. "We can't deny they have done a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it.
