Matthew 13:27

27: The farmer's servants came and told him, 'Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds!'

And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people's faith by teaching things that are contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.

As God's partners, we beg you not to reject this marvelous message of God's great kindness.

In everything we do we try to show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.

Here is a list of some of the members that God has placed in the body of Christ: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who can help others, those who can get others to work together, those who speak in unknown languages.
Is everyone an apostle? Of course not. Is everyone a prophet? No. Are all teachers? Does everyone have the power to do miracles?

All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him.
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.
We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, "Be reconciled to God!"

When Timothy comes, treat him with respect. He is doing the Lord's work, just as I am.

He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ,

Oh, foolish Galatians! What magician has cast an evil spell on you? For you used to see the meaning of Jesus Christ's death as clearly as though I had shown you a signboard with a picture of Christ dying on the cross.
Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the Holy Spirit by keeping the law? Of course not, for the Holy Spirit came upon you only after you believed the message you heard about Christ.
Have you lost your senses? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?

But tell me this--since we preach that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying there will be no resurrection of the dead?
For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either.
And if Christ was not raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your trust in God is useless.
And we apostles would all be lying about God, for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave, but that can't be true if there is no resurrection of the dead.
If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised.

You adulterers! Don't you realize that friendship with this world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again, that if your aim is to enjoy this world, you can't be a friend of God.

For some members of Chloe's household have told me about your arguments, dear brothers and sisters.
Some of you are saying, "I am a follower of Paul." Others are saying, "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Peter, "or "I follow only Christ."
Can Christ be divided into pieces? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul?

For jealousy and selfishness are not God's kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and motivated by the Devil.
For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and every kind of evil.

Who is Apollos, and who is Paul, that we should be the cause of such quarrels? Why, we're only servants. Through us God caused you to believe. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us.
My job was to plant the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God, not we, who made it grow.
The ones who do the planting or watering aren't important, but God is important because he is the one who makes the seed grow.
The one who plants and the one who waters work as a team with the same purpose. Yet they will be rewarded individually, according to their own hard work.
We work together as partners who belong to God. You are God's field, God's building--not ours.
