Luke 8:22
22: One day Jesus said to his disciples, "Let's cross over to the other side of the lake." So they got into a boat and started out.
Matthew 8:23
- Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples.
- Suddenly, a terrible storm came up, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.
- The disciples went to him and woke him up, shouting, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"
- And Jesus answered, "Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!" Then he stood up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm.
- The disciples just sat there in awe. "Who is this?" they asked themselves. "Even the wind and waves obey him!"
John 6:1
- After this, Jesus crossed over the Sea of Galilee, also known as the Sea of Tiberias.
Mark 4:35
- As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, "Let's cross to the other side of the lake."
- He was already in the boat, so they started out, leaving the crowds behind (although other boats followed).
- But soon a fierce storm arose. High waves began to break into the boat until it was nearly full of water.

- When he woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the water, "Quiet down!" Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.

- Immediately after this, Jesus made his disciples get back into the boat and head out across the lake to Bethsaida, while he sent the people home.
