15: Everyone was expecting the Messiah to come soon, and they were eager to know whether John might be the Messiah.

John 10:24

  1. The Jewish leaders surrounded him and asked, "How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly."

John 3:28
